I've read that Asda has won 'Britain's lowest priced supermarket' for the 12th year running, and I have to say, I am inclined to agree. Asda does seem to be cheaper than the other supermarkets. Maybe Aldi or Lidl would be competition on price, though I am not a fan of either. I know there are bargains to be had in both Aldi and Lidl, but I find some of their food tasteless and I can never do a full weekly shop in either store as they don't stock a lot of the items I need.
