This is nothing new. The problem is they don't have the range of goods that we are used to and you end up having to go to multiple shops - meaning more time and hassle.

Yeah for sure. It has alaways been the case that if you go to various specific shops you will save money. We have returned to a local fruit veg shop mainly because quality is better, though prices are also cheaper.

If you do go to Aldi, you must get the chocolate brioche, mmmmmmmmmm:)
