Just got an email from Ebay regarding manufacturers seeking to prevent the Ebay type sale of their products - they say in order to prevent counterfeiting - Ebay say 0.15% of the listings are for counterfeit goods.
I am not sure what the manufacturers are really after, and how they will define an online 'marketplace'. I have found that a lot of the Buy It Now products are more expensive on Ebay than elsewhere, so I am pondering the 'real' thinking behind this move and is it more to do with the sale of secondhand which theyare also seeking to block?? I am not even sure who these "certain" 'they' are!!
