Did I hear right? Banks who report enormous losses won't have to pay any taxes possibly for years to come. What on earth is going on?

What about the thousands of businesses up and down the country that are dealing with enormous losses? Why is there no tax relief for them? The banks continue to make mistakes and take unnecessary risks and yet keep getting bailed out.

It is the same old story. If a person owes £50.000 and can't pay it - they have a problem.
If they owe £50.000.000 and can't pay, other people have a problem.
