We purchased a used property, with a fully equiped kitchen. Unfortunately, nearly all the machines needed repairs or cleaning or both. There was a temptation to look at the oven/hob/hood covered in dirt and grease, with the oven door hanging off, and say "a new one"!
However, a few calls to oven repairers enabled me to take off the door with its hinges and frame. They quite reasonably and very professionally glued the loose glass back. They also recommended a franchise oven cleaning company.
One clean oven, grill, hob and hood later - and a saving of several hundred pounds.

Or you could just try to remember to clean your oven on a more regular basis. Not that I do but it might save money in the long run.

Hi all,

To answer the question on prices, it depends on the type of oven you have. A single oven clean will cost around £45 and a double oven will cost around £55. A hob will cost around £15 depending on how many burner rings you have. We offer an oven cleaning service which takes between 2 and 3 hours and our prices reflect the above mentioned prices and are fixed. You might find some cheaper prices, but be aware that these prices might not include the cleaning of the racks and grill pan. You can find more on our services and pricing by googling "ovenhands".

All the best,

Lee
PS: If you do find an oven cleaner who charges less than £45 all inclusive for a single oven, then you have got a good deal.
