Modern furniture has many wasted areas, which in a small apartment would be usefull to use a storage.
Every time we discuss the lack of storage space in our flat the subject always comes up "where do we store the Christmas decorations?" as if that is the unique problem to the whole world.
There is probably a good reason why few chairs or sofas are offered where the wasted underseat space can be used as storage - but I wish I could figure it out.
