Are lifts not fit for purpose.

Several lifts locally now have notices saying "don't hold the doors open - either with the 'doors open button' or holding the doors open manually. So - is that reasonably a problem that lift manufacturers should not be able to resolve.

Teeth. Clearly not fit for purpose. Don't last for anywhere near as long as they should, even if you follow all the maintenance guidelines. And the service programme is horrific and costly.

We should join up and start a class action lawsuit against the creator.
