I usually do a food shop every week. Last week I decided to give it a miss and use up the food that had been lurking in the back of the cupboards and the freezer for months. It was a bit of a struggle putting decent meals together and spam sandwiches for lunch 3 days in a row just doesn't cut it, but on the whole it was worthwhile doing and was money well saved.
