Hello, excuse the ignorance.

I purchased a laptop from Novatech which is covered by a warranty. 2 weeks ago the mother board needed to be replaced in which I waited 3 weeks for the laptop to be returned and now the hardrive has now died.

I understand they will probably fix this under the warranty terms but I really dont have any confidence in it anymore.

Monor problem like the touch pad sticking is happening as well.

Can I ask for a replacement or refund or am I just obliged to accept the warranty conditions?

Thanks

Tony

The warranty is in addition to your statutory rights. You need to give them two or three attempts to fix something before asking for a refund. If being without a laptop will cause you significant inconvenience then you can request a loan machine.
