I have always loved trawling car boots, markets and antique shops for finds. And now, according to Saturdays' The Irish Times, antique furniture is a good thing to invest in. So, if anybody knows of any great places where I can pick up some lovely chairs, etc please let me know. The article said that prices have dropped 20 per cent in the last six years for old, but risen 30 per cent for new. It doesn't make sense when you consider that the antique furniture is the better made and normally the better looking (but that's just my opinion ... and the articles!).
