DVD/Karaoke Machine

Hi,

Last Christmas I puchased a semi-professional DVD/Karaoke Machine - it was a refurbished machine purchased from a company on the internet, recently it's been making a strange feedback noise; am I within my rights to ask for it to be repaired/replaced by the people that I purchased it off?

I noticed on the news something about 2 years return for electronic equipment, but I'm not sure if it applies to refurbished goods?

Anyway, the answer to your question depends how much you paid for it and how old it is i.e. if it was 20 years old and you paid £1 - no chance.
