Cash for Bangers Scheme

I still don't see the point of this. The only people who can take advantage of this are driving fair OK old cars anyway (the real 'bangers' are being driven by those that couldn't afford six grand for a new car!)

So what we're doing is taken roadworthy cars off the road and scrapping them just to replace them with new cars.

Any reason why?
