Hi

Purchased a quality watch from a well known High St jeweller less than 3 years ago. Purchase price £880. It is an automatic and worked well for 2.5 years then started stop-starting. Took it back and sent to manufacturer. Now the run a round. Manaufacturer says it needs a service. Retailer won.
't pay. They say that it should have a service after 3 years. I disagree. If they had told me that I need to pay £200 every 2-3 years I wouldn't have bought it. Also a "quality" watch shouldn't just stop after less than 3 years, should it? I think I have a case under Sales of Goods. Comments please.
