Hi

I hope somebody can guide me in the right direction.

I have a samsung tv that i bought from pc world for over £800 and 3 months down the line it has stopped working.

I rang pc world but they pointed me in the direction of the manufacturers and said i had to deal with them as its gone past 28 days.

I then rang samsung and they have agreed to send an engineer out to repair the tv.

My concern now is that after reading my sales of goods rights i should have made pc world fix the problem and not samsung. Have i done the right thing or should i go back to pc world? Am i entitled to a replacement with it being just over 3 months old?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

Getting Samsung to fix it under warranty does not affect your statutory rights so nothing to worry about. It would be difficult to get a replacement until you have given them three attempts to repair the TV.
