New twist on an old scam - the London Stock Market lottery. An email arrives to tell you the good news that you are a winner of a lottery. If you put in "Real Event Games scam" into a search engine you soon see that it is a scam"

All you hve to do is download a claim form where they ask for personal details. That the criminals can use for identity theft. Of course, there will be some fee you have to pay in order to get the prize.

I also suspect that the attachment downloads malware.

It must just be a numbers game. How are they sending out these emails to so many people? How many people is it? Does anybody know? And, and this may be a really dumb question - but where do they get the email addresses from?
