Just wondering if anyone has any info on this.

Can a company charge a 'handling' fee to replace a product that breaks whilst under warrant?

What if the fee is exorbitant and is more for covering the cost of a replacement than 'handling' it?

They can within reason as it depends on the terms of the warranty. It is possible that some of the terms could be deemed unfair. However, warranties are in addition to your statutory rights and do not affect them
