I bought a Garmin SatNav from halfords 2 months ago but the picture has started freezing. e.g was on the motorway then came off it into a town and the picture was still of the motorway.
Also the picture of the road vansihed from the screen on the return journey.
I've looked on the returns policy of halfords and it says "Please note: Satellite Navigation systems/units also CANNOT be returned to stores unless they are returned complete in all their original packaging, with ALL security seals still intact. "
Obviously I've used it so the security tags arent there. I have kept it in a case and looked after it and i think a satnav costing £89.99 should work properly for over 2 months. From what ive read on this site within 6 months i should be entitled to repair/replacement, but the comment on their website concerns me! I havent taken it back yet as i want to be prepared when i do return it.
If anyone knows the best course of action Id be grateful!
