E-victims.org: Bank phishing emails increasing at Xmas

"We are seeing more phishing emails especially for UK banks. It may lead online Xmas shoppers to think they have bought something online that has put their card at risk" says Jennifer Perry at E-Victims.Org.

The first warning sign for this email is that it is from a bank. Today banks do not send out this type of warning via email. Another clue is it says Dear Customer, your bank knows your name so they wouldn't send you a generic email or letter if they thought your account was compromise. Finally if you put your mouse over the links you will see it isn't going to the bank for example the lloyds link goes to BKBC.Org which is hosted in Korea.
