This afternoon, I had the pleasure of taking my grandfather to a garden centre.
I thought while I was there, I would look at the pot grown christmas trees ... they ranged from £4.50 to £40.00 in price, the cheapest was literally just a spring of green, where as the most expensive were only about 4ft tall ... I wanted something about 2-3ft and nice a green, not bald and brown like most of these trees were.
I will spend the weekend hunting down a tree, that come the 6th of January 2009, I can plant in the garden ... my contribution (for the festive season) towards global warming.
If anyone has any suggestions where I might find a nice pot grown tree in or near Scunthorpe, suggestions would be greatly received.
