Hi,

I'm new to this forum. i've recently bought a TV online and after the first day the TV picture disappeared and now only appears shortly after switching it on before vanishing again. I've informed the company involved and have told them that i will return the TV to the location i picked it up from next weekend which is within the "7 day cooling off period". as a result of the fault i would prefer a refund rather than a replacement and wondered how i should go about this (simply ask) and whether or not when i return the TV i should ask them to sign something to say it has been received and what if they do not want to receive it back (do i leave it and film it phone or something???)

Thanks for your help

As it is so new you could reject the goods and demand a full refund or you could cancel the order and perhaps have to pay return shipping.
