There are multiple scams that use the tactic of a free trial. In order to get the free trial you have to provide your credit card details. However, under the terms and conditions they say they will charge you a monthly fee unless you cancel or sometimes return the item.

This is not legal in the UK. Under the E-Commerce Regulations the consumer must be told the price of what he is purchasing and the terms, they must agree the price and receive confirmation of the purchase.Therefore under the E-Commerce Regulations the contract was never completed.

The website failed to meet the necessary requirements under the E-Commerce Regulations - because they did not provide clear indication of the price and did not provide confirmation during the online transaction.

Write an email to the website and say:

"This is to inform you that I'm disputing this charge. You failed to meet the requirements under the E-Commerce Regulations and therefore a contract was not made. You have debit my credit...
