Would you park in front of a non driveway?

Space is tight on our road but because we're all so polite nobody (myself included) parks of our neighbours house because they have turned their front garden into a driveway. However, this isn't official as they haven't paid to have the pavement dropped. My question is would you or wouldn't you park in front of it? I'm so often tempted to but something stops me and it really irritates me!

I know what you mean. Then again is there a chance that they might take it out on your car with a scratch down the side.

With the state of my car that wouldn't matter but I suppose it pays to keep things friendly even if I am secretly harbouring a grudge.

I don't know why you're worrying about it. We have a dropped curb at the end of our driveway and a white line painted across it with double yellows either side. And the old folk still plonk their cars there. I wouldn't mind but there is a free car park only 6 steps away grrrrr
