Hey,

Quick question regarding my rights and any laws applicable to the event that im about to describe.

Basically, the other night i was out clubbing, bought a few drinks but was still sobre enough to know what i was doing and remember eveything that happened.

Anyway, i went to the kebab shop and asked for some large chips along with some large chips with cheese. The guy said that was £5 so as u do, i handed over the money.

He then came back a minute later and asked for £5, obviously i was confused as i was certain i just handed over the money. After questioning the guy serving me, he said he couldnt be bothered with me anymore and angrily told me to go away.

My question here is, if i can prove that he took my money without serving me my chips, are there any penalties for taking money and not serving someone?

Many thanks for any help regarding this issue,

James

You would have to take him to the small claim court - see my footer. It isn't worth the hassle IMHO and probably impossible to prove.
