Hi - newby here

I purchased a 2nd hand car just over a year ago costing £2200, and have already spent over £500 on a steering pump. Having taken it for a service I am now informed it will require another £900 to rectify further problems. Do I have a case against this dealer under the Sale of Goods Act, and in a position to ask for a refund or cost of repairs?

Appreciate any help
Thanks

It really depends how old the car is and how many miles it has done. It is pretty normal to have to pay that kind of money on a regular basis to maintain an older car.
