Anyone else out there experiencing sound faults with this Sony TV?

Purchased December 2008 with 5 year warranty and since then the speakers have been replaced twice plus a new sound module. This remedial action took several months involving many telephone calls and letters. Unfortunately the problem persists and was reported on 3rd February 2010; still waiting for service call! (Distorted sound and an intermittent "buzzing" noise.) Is this a design fault or a "rogue TV?"

Hi Maurice,

If you have had the exact same problem three times you are deemed to have given them reasonable opportunity to remedy the situation and can demand a refund. However, bear in mind they can deduct some money to reflect the usage you have had.
