I need a little advice, I purchased over the phone direct from Orange amobile phone, I was told at the time that the phone contact was for24 months at a cost of £25.00, no more was said.
I later found out via a friend that Orange only do 18 month discount contracts and after the 18th month I will have to pay £30.00.
I have only had the phone for two weeks,can they do this, I did not agree to sign up to have the contract change after the 18th month to £30.00. Apparently the sales girl has written it into the notes on her computer that I have been made aware of this...which is untrue, she has also given me a wrong Extension number to contact her on!
What are my rights with this....is it a breach of contract? and can I return the phone under the sales of goods act? Orange tell me I had to return the phone within 7 days??
