I have read with great interest the replacement PS3 thread and am aware that under the SOGA I should be eligible for a replacement as mine has developed the YLOD. It was purchased in October of 2007 and as was stated, I would expect it to last longer than it has.
I do not have the original receipt, but have obtained a signed statement/proof of payment to Virgin retail from my bank.
The store was in Glasgow and does now not exist. Think they sold the Megastores to Zavvii.
My issue is with who to contact and if they are still liable.
The only contact details I can find for Virgin Megatore/ Virgin Retail are on Virgin's web site and it directs me to their French site.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
