Returning a faulty new car

We bought a brand new car and have had it 2 weeks and done 300 miles. The car is faulty and has been returned for examination. The fault was identified as being with the ABS braking system which would not have worked had we skidded on an icy road. We do not want that car back and have requested a replacement or money back, the company Hayseldons is saying we need to talk about it. What r my rights please? thank you
