I am writing this post in the hope that it will motivate me to begin the 'get fit' thing I've been going on about for months. I just can't seem to get motivated to exercise, and it's always been the same.
I have loads of exercise contraptions stashed about the house, collected over the years and used a handful of times before the novelty wore off. I have done numerous different exercise classes that I've soon got bored of. I have heard that you can even get fit at your desk, by regularly...

My partner and I recently brought a 1966 Morris Minor for £50 which had been abandoned at the back of somebody's field for over a decade. It was rough, as you can imagine, there was even a tree of some sort growing through the floor and around the engine. We were unsure at first whether to rebuild it as a project or break it and sell the parts. On pricing up what the parts/body etc were selling for I found that we could make £100s, maybe even in to the £1000s and we had most of the original features....

Last weekend I had a major clearout and I was ruthless. My house was overflowing with junk. I had held on to so much stuff for so many reasons over the years, feeling that I couldn't get rid of certain things because they were gifts or because they may come in handy one day even though they had been living at the back of cupboards, the loft, the garage, gathering dust year on year.

I now have a car full of items I intend to sell at a car boot sale, a bag of bits and bobs to go on...
