I want to get motivated to exercise

I am writing this post in the hope that it will motivate me to begin the 'get fit' thing I've been going on about for months. I just can't seem to get motivated to exercise, and it's always been the same.
I have loads of exercise contraptions stashed about the house, collected over the years and used a handful of times before the novelty wore off. I have done numerous different exercise classes that I've soon got bored of. I have heard that you can even get fit at your desk, by regularly stretching your limbs, bending your body and sucking in your stomach. Even this I can't get motivated to do. But I am going to try to change, again. I intend to cycle short distances instead of driving (which will also save me money), and to do some form of other exercise at least four times a week, whether it be a run, the gym or sit ups. Starting today. I am trying to be optimistic, and I'll give it a go. But...

Tracey,
The first think to do is to set a daily time at which you are going to walk for half an hour. It is best first thing in the morning but if not a morning person, then a time after work that you can keep everyday is good. The most important think is you keep to your time. Just remember once you get started it will become easier & you will feel much better.
Secondly, if you havent got one, buy an ipod. Fast music is good to keep your tempo up.
Last of all & most importantly off all, in my opinion 80% of it all is diet.
So go girl
Good luck
