The companies are a bit over-generous on their own behalf. These things drop through the letterbox regularly without our asking. However, I do think it's time we all learnt to be a bit more savvy as consumers generally and if we haven't learnt yet that free lunches don't exist, (unless you visit the Hari Krishna temple in Soho street where you can have a delicious curry - but wear decent socks/tights as you will be asked to remove shoes) then when will we. Time to wise up, or drown in Softie Walter legislation. |
