I agree, the school always force students to buy uniform that we don't like.

I always find it amazing to hear that schools insist on parents buying uniform from one supplier - when I was at school we had a school blazer but parents could buy it from anywhere and stitch on the school crest which cost about 50p from reception.

The school my sons went to had polo shirts with embroidered crests, sweatshirts with embroidered crests, rugby shirts with embroidered crests and have just brought out a school blazer which i believe costs 65, the crests were in 1 of 4 'house' colours so unless you were lucky, you couldn't even pass them on
