Default Trailing Plants

I have some trellis that I would like to grow a plant trailing through. I am useless with plants and wondered if anybody could advise which would be the best to go for. It would need to be quite easy maintenance, and ideally I would like something that is fast growing, that would flower in season and would stay green all year around. Oh, and of course, not too expensive.
