Thought of a few more:
27. Write a shopping list for the supermarket and keep to it, try to avoid impulse buys.
28. Try to get membership of a wholesaler such as Cosco. You have to buy in bulk but you can make real savings.

30. When travelling, return tickets are not always the cheapest, two singles can sometimes be cheaper than return tickets.
31. Avoid booking through Trainlines.co.uk, they charge £1 booking fee and £2.50 credit card fee.

32. Always ask about all the extra charges when comparing prices, airlines and car hire companies are the worst offenders.
33. Avoid national and local rate numbers e.g. 0845/0844/0870 they are excuded from call mobile allowances. This is a great site for finding the standard number SAYNOTO0870.COM - Non-Geographical Alternative Telephone Numbers many companies will also provide a number for overseas access which you can use.

Default Throw away your old TV.

36. These days with the BBC iplayer and other services you can save yourself £139.50 per year by throwing away your TV. Make sure you have a nice big monitor and it doesn't have a TV tuner card, you are not allowed one in the PC either. (This is stolen from an idea Temi gave me.)

28. Haven thrown away your TV (see tip 27), if you do not want to be stuck with BBC programmes only, you can also download Channel 4's answer to BBC iPlayer, its called 4OD
Other companies such as BSkyB have similar software. Be prepared to upgrade your broadband connection and increase you data transfer allowance to 'unlimited' due to large data transfers.

Two things wrong with this post:
1. I have already posted the same thing here: 101 Money Saving Tips
2. You have completely messed up the numbering LOL
