Default Store closing signs 'misleading'

Found this on BBC, there is a store in the two I live that is always doing similar thing:

Sports Direct's stores have been criticised by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) for advertising closing down sales and then not closing.
The OFT received complaints that Sportsdirect.com, Hargreaves (Sports) Ltd and Gilesports had adverts in their windows for several months.
But some of the stores carried on trading or only closed for a short time for refurbishment.
The company said it was happy to make its adverts clearer in the future.

Its nice we have OFT and other watch dogs, if not for them, the stores will be ripping us all off big time.

OK..whilst the advert is misleading...we're only being tempted into the shop to see if there are any bargains. We are not being ripped off as we don't HAVE to buy anything...we still have a choice as to whether to buy a product or not...

However...it is a bit cheeky!
