Default I put wrong country what are my options

Hi, I am just looking for some advice please.
I purchased a book from A1 books online on the 4th Nov 08.
During ordering I inadvertently put UK instead of Greece at the end of the address for postage, when I realised my error I sent an email (within 15 minutes) to advise the company to change to Greece then wrongly assumed that they would change the error.
On the 1st December as the book had not arrived I contacted A1 books to advise no book arrived as yet, I also referred them to the email I had sent concerning the address error, and this is the reply: - We really understand your concern. But, we would like to
Inform you that once the order is placed, the shipping
Address cannot be modified to change the destination country.

Once the order is returned to the warehouse our returns
Department will determine the reason for return and
Accordingly will refund the order.

I have contacted them again but all they say is that it is there policy not to change the post address as stated in there terms (I have looked but cannot see this in the terms)
Now they say that I must wait up to six weeks as postal times are not guaranteed,
When the book is returned to them they will make a full refund but what if the book is NOT returned to them?

Any advice please.

Many Thanks in advance,
Russell Webb.
