Angry Cheap Lego Copy

I recently bought a cheap building block toy set in Asda that claimed to be compatible with other products i.e. Lego. However, my son became very frustrated with it as the quality was very poor and he was unable to build it. I tried to help him finish it off, but I too was unable to complete it. Do you think I can get my money back?

I am pretty sure you can. Don't they have a no quibbles money back guarantee. The only decent alternatives to Lego is Cobi and Megablocks. What make was the stuff you bought?

Default cheap lego

You can take it back and get a full refund, claiming breach of your statutory right to quality. This is regardless of having opened the box. Even though it was cheap it should still do what it says on the box, which is to be achievable and provide fun and entertainment - not frustration!
