Default Make a will for free

Wasn't quite sure where to post this but thought it might be of interest. November is Will Aid month. The idea as far as I can see is that participating solicitors will draw up your will for free, if you make a donation to one of the nine Will Aid charities.

Apparently, since the scheme began in 1998 it has seen 120,000 wills written and raised almost £7 million for charity.

May be of interest to some?

Nice find GG, it is not something I have really thought about like many people. But I guess it prevents a lot of hassled for your loved ones should the worst happen without any warning... I think I should look into this.

Has anyone seen the TV series, Heir Hunters? This shows what can happen when people don't make a will. Ultimately, it will all go to the government if heirs cannot be found.

I haven't seen that I guess they get a cut if they find the heirs or are they just doing it for "TV".
