Moving tips Because my Dad was in the RAF we moved all the time, then when I got married we still kept moving even though I swore I would stay in one place forever when I grew up!! (managed it now!!) I became very adept at packing and unpacking.
Having got to one place in the evening, with a dog and food, but no tin opener, I think there is no better advice than to pack one box for your own car, containing a basic toolset, loo paper, a tin opener, a camping gas stove (which I saw in an El Cheapo for £7.99 the other day), a stove kettle, a box of matches, candles, and tea, milk, coffee and the most luxurious biscuits you can afford. Just in case.
Anyone add to the list? |
