Default House Prices to fall by 25%

A report from the head of Nationwide PLC states that house prices across the country could fall by 25% over the next two years.

There is probably a sense of inevitability about this, but where is it all going to end. We are paying more and more in taxes, fuel bills, water bills, petrol and meanwhile to exacerbate matters our assets are decreasing in value steadily... This has surely got to stop at some point.

So I guess if you come to remortgage and you have no equity you will be stuck on the lenders variable rate - yikes.
