Default Cost of removal and replacement of a failed item

I have a faulty shower which is approx 3 years old, but only installed 18 months ago. (I have proof of registration for the shower pump). The manufacturer has supplied replacement parts which I have fitted but it still isn't that good.

I understand that it fails the durability test and may need to be replaced but who pays for it's removal and replacement? And, worse still, what happens if the product is no longer available (I can't find it on the web anywhere) and building work is required to install a new design.?
