Credit Crisis opportunity for Scammers

I read this and thought it may be worth flagging up here...

I'm guessing the idea is that the new influx of money to these banks has had scammers pretending to be offering really competetive loans / mortgages to people...

As with all scams either report them to the relevant authorities, or just delete the emails without opening anything from them.

There's another similarly themed news item today about this, reminding people to be vigilant during the Christmas period and to ensure their details do not get into the wrong hands.
