Default Someone's taken my door!

After all the woes I have posted on here about my car I drove past my old (but taxed and still sitting on the road) car last week. It's parked around the corner from my house and I have to confess after the broken window which was fixed up with tape, etc, I had just left it there biding my time before getting it fixed. Anyway, someone has taken the entire door off! Somebody took the wing mirror before so I'm guessing someone somewhere not too far away has got the same model and make and I'm just a sitting spare part. I think my car has now reached the too expensive to fix state and will be taken away as scrap. Sort of crazy though as it works and was a lovely car to drive around.

can you not get a new door from a breakers yard and get your local college mechanics course (if they've not already broken up) to fix it.

I've only just read this. I could have done I suppose. But I seem to be having such bad luck with cars in general that I think I should just cut my losses. I'm about to post somewhere else about my huge fine I had to pay out this morning!
