Default The value of complaining

A friend of mine was shopping in Boots today, and had a bad experience with a staff member who was extremely rude to her. (Long story short, the staff member called my friend stupid and accused her of breaking the automatic payment machine!) So she complained to the manager, and came away with an apology and a rather nice goody bag. Moral: always complain when you get bad service!
