Much as i applaud the idea of Post of the Month, I wonder if it might work better to think in terms of a Poster of the Month?

This would give all the members of this forum a good incentive to develop their presence throughout the entire month and not just 'get lucky' with a single post. It would also help establish some sort of integrity for regular posters whose contribution is considered useful.

Of course, posts could still be highlighted, but the focus could be placed on the poster and this could feed into the Poster of the Month award.

Might need a bit of finessing, but what do you reckon?

It is a good idea Gabriel I think we could do both - I'll look into it and see what I can come up with as it would need to automated otherwise it would be too difficult to manage.
