Can I get refund

Hi, I have just purchased a mattress but it is firmer than the one I tried in the showroom. Am I entitled to a refund? The shop is refusing. PLEASE HELP?

I think you would use s13 of SOGA 1979 'not as described'. I would act quickly and reject the mattress. It would be for the store to prove it was the same as the one in the store.

As long as you're within 28 days and the product is deemed 'fit for resale' by the retailer, you can get a discount.

If the product is not deemed 'fit for resale' by the retailer, they may offer you an exchange. But in this instance it is not your right to get a refund.
