Hi - I recently purchased an item online (cabinet) but was told a week later it was out of stock and available within 2-3 weeks.
I decided to cancel as needed it before then and then when I was refunded the company deducted an administration fee, which is stated in their T&Cs but the Distance & Selling regulation states I should get a full refund.
Most of the wording in the D&S regulation is around returns and the company is refusing to budge unless I provide evidence that an admin fee cannot be charged to a cancellation.
Where do I stand with this as many google searches bring up the fact the company cannot do this.
I also received a note from them the admin fee covers packaging and labour for dispatch, but the item was not in stock so this could not have happened!!
Thank you
