received letter saying I had not informed them of a keeper change on a certain vehicle. I sold this vehicle 4yrs ago and all paper work was signed and sent to DVLA, I have moved 3 yrs ago and shredded all old paperwork. I have phone and written twice, but they say I am liable for a £55 fine or get taken to court. If I am still the registered keeper wouldnt I have been responsible for the road tax and had reminders sent to me? They also couldnt give me the cc or model but it was red.......at the sale mine was blue. Can anybody help please.

This isn't really a question concerning consumer rights. I think you should probably ask a solicitor as if you end up in court you will need to appoint one anyway....sorry
