faulty tap from internet company

Hi I recently bought some bathroom items from an internet company and whilst the plumber was installing my new bathroom found that the bath mixer tap was leaking on the thread from the cold side. He has replaced the seal but it is still leaking. I have rang the company for a replacement but they say they need photo evidence to prove its leaking! As it is underneath the bath I have tried my best to get a photo but as the water is only trickling down the pipework it is hard to see on a photo. I have 3 children and no bathroom, plus have to pay for the plumber to come back out and finish the installation when I have replacement taps. Where do I stand with getting a replacement?

A written statement from a competent and qualified person i.e. the plumber should be sufficient for them.
