I have an overnight type bag from a well known designer/retailer.
The clip on the shoulder strap has just pulled through the eye it is attached to.
I tried to put it back in but the metal ring just snapped.
It is about 9 months old.
The manufacturer has said it is nothing to do with them as I purchased it from a reseller (a genuine one at that) and their warranty only covers their items they sell themselves directly. But it is my understanding that the manufacturer is responsible between 6 months and a year. Is this correct?
Also there are many reviews on their own website stating exactly the same problem with this item.
All I asked them for was a new clip I could either purchase or they could send as a replacement. I can attach it myself very easily.
It seems a very silly problem for such a small part to me.
Does any one have any idea how I can try to resolve this?
